HCC Exclusive: This week's featured single is You Got Lucky from the 1982 album Long After Dark.This tune reached #1 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks Chart and to this day is one of Tom and The Heartbreakers' recognizable songs. HCC Exclusive: Next up is Jammin' Me, the first single from Let Me Up (I've Had Enough). Tom co-wrote this song with Bob Dylan and Mike Campbell. The first part of the writing came during a songwriting session Tom and Bob had at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Los Angeles. This session also produced "I Got My Mind Made Up" which would appear on Dylan's 1986 Knocked Out Loaded album. [2] Comments |

HCC Exclusive: We continue with a fan favorite from 1981's Hard Promises. A Woman In Love (It's Not Me) was the first single released from Hard Promises and the b-side is Gator On The Lawn, a rarity that also appears on the Playback album and as the b-side to the 1994 UK only release of the "Mary Jane's Last Dance" single.[2] Comments |
